The Reaper is the Intelligence salvage ship unlocked by Recycler Upgrades. Once unlocked, the shipyard builds Reapers instead of new Recyclers.

Harvest Missions

Reapers can launch Harvest missions and collect debris fields exactly like Recyclers. Existing Recyclers still work after the upgrade, and fleets may mix both ship types.

Laser Technology bonuses apply to debris collected by Reapers on Harvest missions.

Combat Salvage

Surviving Reapers on Attack and ACS Attack missions automatically collect up to 2% of fresh combat debris per Recycler Upgrades level before returning home, limited by remaining cargo space. They only collect debris created by that combat. Older debris already at the same location remains for normal Harvest missions.

Reapers do not automatically collect combat debris at Recycler Upgrades level 0.
